Artiste hypercréatif aux multiples projets, Olivier Ackermann est le chanteur et guitariste du groupe new-yorkais A Place to Bury Strangers depuis presque 20 ans. Sa musique est un savant mélange entre post-punk, noise-rock, shoegaze, psychédélisme et sons d’avant-garde. Entouré du bassiste John Fedowitz et de la batteuse Sandra Fedowitz, venus rafraîchir la formation, Ackermann crée un univers sonore puissant, audacieux, impressionnant et inattendu.
Hologram, premier EP de cette nouvelle formation et du label Dedstrange lancé par Olivier Ackermann, a reçu un accueil très enthousiaste dès sa sortie.
Plus récemment, le trio à sorti le tout brûlant See Through You. En février 2022, 6^e album très attendu et fortement apprécié.

Olivier Ackermann, a hyper-creative artist with multiple projects, has been the singer and guitarist of the New York-based band A Place to Bury Strangers for almost 20 years. His music is a clever mix of post-punk, noise-rock, shoegaze, psychedelia and avant-garde sounds. Together with bassist John Fedowitz and drummer Sandra Fedowitz, who came to refresh the band, Ackermann creates a powerful, bold, impressive and unexpected sound universe.
Hologram, the first EP of this new formation and of the label called Dedstrange, launched by Olivier Ackermann himself, received a very enthusiastic welcome upon its release.
More recently, in February 2022, the trio released See Through You, their highly anticipated and appreciated 6^th album.
