Beyond the tracksuit jackets and the samples of tuning engines of a questionable taste, Scuffles brings together two aesthetics rarely assembled: garage/punk and techno. If it is above all thought of as light and festive, the duo’s music tends to take an increasingly melodic turn, in French in the text, thus flirting with the cold wave universe.
Noticed by France Inter, Tsugi or Rock & Folk in the momentum of a new EP unveiled in November 2021 and punctuated by a visit to Bars en Trans, Scuffles sinks with
Sur le bitume the evidence of a collection of irresistibly unifying hits. On colours inspired by Rendez-Vous, La Femme or Vox Low and Arnaud Rebotini, it’s short, simple, frontal and punchy.
Get ready to sweat hard, Scuffles invites itself to the Ferme Electrique to shake things up!
