Sa musique doit autant à Jonathan Richman qu’aux frappes tendues de Steven Gerrard ; aux guitares tordues de Sonic Youth qu’à l’européanisme de TC Matic ; aux dessins animés débiles de leur adolescence qu’à la philosophie de Jean-Claude Van Damme. Premier album sorti en 2023 chez Luik Records et mixé par Ben Hampson (DITZ, Blood Red Shoes), Charivari invite à méditer sur les modalités de sabotage du monde civilisé ainsi que sur le profond mystère de l’inconscient collectif, le tout sur fond de sifflets brésiliens, de derbouka, de kazoo et autres joyeusetés bizarroïdes.
